We just got back from The Fly Fishing Show held in Somerset, New Jersey and had a wonderful time.  We would like to thank all those who stopped by our booth and allowed us the opportunity to show them our product.  We enjoyed the many conversations and shared stories about fishing we had with different folks.  We would also like to extend a warm thank you to Chuck Furimsky and all those that where involved with organizing and participating in the show.  The experience was well worth the trip and we hope to be there next year. 

We would also like to thank Jack Charlton of Mako Reels for accompanying us to the show and introducing us to a host of wonderful people.  Jack is a true inovator and reel designer extroardenaire and his presence at our booth was truly and added bonus to the experience.

Solitude will be attending The Fly Fishing Show held in Pleasanton, CA February 26, 27, and 28 2010 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.  If you are planning on attending the show please stop by our booth to say hi and check out our reels.

Solitude Reels will be one of many fine industry oriented companies sponsoring The Steelhead One Fly competition.  The event will be held in October (21st-23rd) of this year on the famous Deschutes River in Oregon.  The competition/fund-raiser has been put together by Salmon & Steelhead Journal magazine and will include tons of prizes including a few reels from Solitude.  You can get more details by visiting the event site at www.steelheadonefly.com
